This is the most important term on the page. UtilityAtlas provides calculation and text-analysis tools for general informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal, medical, or nutritional advice, and no professional relationship is created by your use of it.

Our health tools — including BMI, calorie, and body-composition calculators — are general estimates based on published population formulas. They are not diagnostic, do not account for your individual medical circumstances, and must not be used to make decisions about diet, exercise, or treatment without consulting a qualified healthcare professional.

Our financial tools — including mortgage, loan, retirement, debt-to-income, and investment calculators — apply standard formulas to figures you provide. They do not account for your full financial position, tax situation, fees, or jurisdiction-specific rules, and their projections rely on assumptions that will not hold exactly. Consult a licensed financial professional before acting on any output.

Accuracy and availability

We take reasonable care to implement formulas correctly and document our approach on the methodology page. Even so, the site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

You are responsible for verifying any output before relying on it for a decision that matters. Where a page provides a worked example, you can use it to confirm the tool is behaving as documented.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use automated systems to scrape, mirror, or bulk-download the site in a way that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, or interfere with its normal operation.
• Republish substantial portions of our written content as your own, or present our tools as your own product.
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable regulation.

Normal personal and professional use — including using results in your own work, quoting a page with attribution, and linking to us — is welcome and needs no permission.

Intellectual property

The written content, page structure, design, and tool implementations on this site are owned by UtilityAtlas and protected by copyright. The underlying mathematical formulas are not owned by anyone and are free for you to use.

You may quote short excerpts with a link back for the purposes of commentary, teaching, or reference. Reproducing whole pages, or generating derivative sites from our content, is not permitted without written consent.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UtilityAtlas shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site — including financial loss, loss of data, or loss of profit resulting from reliance on a calculation.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Third-party links and advertising

This site displays advertising and may link to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, products, or privacy practices of advertisers or linked sites. How advertising cookies work on this site is described in our privacy policy.

Changes and governing law

We may add, change, or remove tools and content at any time without notice, and may update these terms as the site evolves. Material changes are reflected in the date at the top of this page, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
